The Final Contract – A Metaverse Experience
The first telecommunications company in the metaverse!
The Final Contract used GTA V’s creative mode to deliver an immersive role-play experience. The campaign ran for 30 days, with game sessions streamed by influencers, providing hilarious entertainment to Zain Esports’ followers. The server was open for anyone to join the game and wander the city. We recreated a KSA-like city in GTA V. 22 regional influencers joined the server to participate (and fight!) in an auction to purchase the right to launch a telecommunications business in this virtual city. After influencer Drb7h won the auction, he started building an in-game telecommunications empire. He established a Zain shop to sell virtual Zain Sim cards for other players to access their in-game social media messaging and phone systems, thus creating the first telecommunications company in the metaverse. This campaign was also the occasion to communicate real-life Zain offers through billboards and bridge banners around the city.
